Donatello Brown of Valdosta State takes some time to answer some questions about the upcoming NFL Draft.
Scott Porter: What was the Tropical Bowl game experience like for you?
Donatello Brown: It was interesting because I came in thinking scouts weren’t going to acknowledge me but I made the best of my weekend.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest strengths?
Donatello Brown: My physicality and my speed with great hips.
Scott Porter: What do you feel is the toughest part about playing the CB position?
Donatello Brown: I never truly know what the WR is doing.
Scott Porter: What do you like most about playing the position?
Donatello Brown: Matching up against the best because that’s how I get better.
Scott Porter: What got you interested in playing the game of football?
Donatello Brown: Where I’m from that’s all we know. Mostly every male in my family played football or some type of sport.
Scott Porter: What kind of person is an NFL team getting in Donatello Brown?
Donatello Brown: A competitor someone who is willing to learn with a ton of confidence. I am willing to help the team anyway possible.
Scott Porter: What is something about Donatello Brown that many people may not know?
Donatello Brown: My mother passed when I was 2 weeks old and John Brown from the Arizona Cardinals is my nephew.
Scott Porter: How do you think playing for a smaller school has helped you grow as a player?
Donatello Brown: It made me hungry and strive to become a better athlete.
