Brad Seaton answers questions below.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest football strengths?
Brad Seaton: I learned a lot from watching film and studying the game. I adjust well and can recognize blitzes and formations well. I am very strong at run blocking and I move really well.
Scott Porter: What was your overall experience at Villanova like?
Brad Seaton: It was a great experience. Obviously, Villanova is known as a basketball school but our team goal was really to get the football program on the map as well. I grew a lot as a teammate and we became a very close group of players just like a family would be. You learn to push yourself for the people who line up next to you. I learned a lot here.
Scott Porter: How do you think playing for a smaller school may have benefitted you?
Brad Seaton: I was able to stand out a bit at Villanova. As far as benefitting me it put a chip on my shoulder. It kept me humble and kept me working hard. It reminded me day in and day out that I had a lot to prove.
Scott Porter: What type of person is an NFL team getting in Brad Seaton:
Brad Seaton: I am the type of person that is big, strong, fast, athletic, smart but most importantly I am a baller. I am someone you can depend on to get the job done. I can line up against anyone and get the job done.
Scott Porter: What are your expectations of yourself at the next level?
Brad Seaton: I have huge goals. I want to be a Pro Bowler. I want to develop into a starter and win a Super Bowl. Those are my big goals and expectations of myself.
Scott Porter: What got you interested in the game of football?
Brad Seaton: Well, I started off playing as a Junior in High School. My older brother got me into football. He excelled at everything he did and that motivated me to do my best as well. I had him on my side to push me every day. I quickly learned this is something I was good at and it got to the point where it started taking me places and I worked harder and harder at it every day. I want to prove myself that this is my calling in life and this is something I can be great at. I feel it is something I was born to do.
Scott Porter: What aspects in football help you in your day to day life?
Brad Seaton: Number one the thing about football is the adversity. Most people don’t understand what that is like and how you learn to overcome it. It also teaches you to get what you want you have to work very hard. You have to work hard every day and not expect anything in return. It is what is expected of you.
Scott Porter: What do you like most about playing the game of football?
Brad Seaton: There is so much about football I like. I take pride in my blocking. I enjoy using my power and putting my all into driving my opponent 10 yards back and putting him into the ground. It is a thrill you can’t find anywhere else.
